ITECH Launches IT2705 DC Power Analyzer – A New Era of Modular, Integrated Testing

As testing demands grow, multi-device collaborative testing has become standard, but it brings challenges like complex wiring, device asynchrony, and low efficiency. To address these, ITECH officially launched the IT2705 DC Power Analyzer on August 1, delivering an integrated, high-efficiency testing solution ideal for R\&D and production environments.

Designed for industries such as semiconductor ICs, batteries, automotive electronics, DC-DC power modules, and low-power devices, the IT2705 offers flexibility and performance through four key advantages.

First, its modular design allows users to freely combine different module types—such as unidirectional and bidirectional sources, feedback loads, and SMUs—within a highly compatible 8-slot platform. One device can fulfill multiple roles, significantly improving test efficiency.

Second, with a high sampling rate of up to 200 kHz, the IT2705 supports real-time, multi-channel monitoring using Scope, Meter, and DataLogger views. It includes built-in Ah/Wh statistics and seamless current range switching, enabling engineers to analyze everything from transient waveforms to long-term power consumption and dynamic behavior.

Third, the new IT27814 SMU module includes built-in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), making it possible to test batteries, fuel cells, inductors, and similar components using a single device. It also supports automatic generation of Bode and Nyquist plots for full coverage from the time domain to the frequency domain.

Fourth, the IT2705 offers advanced simulation features such as LIST, arbitrary waveform output, sequence editing, and battery simulation—without the need for external waveform generators. When used with ITECH’s free PV2700 software, testing becomes even more collaborative and streamlined.

Typical applications include low-power products such as wearable or portable medical devices, analysis of power supply components like DC-DC converters and PMICs, battery charge and discharge testing, precision sensor validation, and testing of wireless communication modules like NB-IoT and BLE.

The release of the IT2705 represents more than just new hardware. It extends ITECH's modular platform strategy—from power supplies to regenerative loads and source meters—creating a unified architecture for design, verification, and production. It’s an ideal solution for labs seeking to reduce complexity and for system integrators looking for modular scalability.

ITECH’s approach is clear: testing is more than supplying power—it’s the foundation for deeper analysis and meaningful insight.
