The STACO 500 Series Variable Transformers are highly versatile and durable, making them a popular choice for many applications. These transformers operate from 120 volt input lines and are capable of handling 5 amperes for constant current loads and 7 amperes for constant impedance loads at line voltage. The coil tapping arrangement allows for output voltage of 0 to line voltage or 17% above line voltage on constant current line conditions. The panel-mounted STACO 511 variable transformer features a fixed shaft design and is even smaller than the 501B/501C models. Additionally, motor-driven variable transformers are also available.
