    ]]>     Synchroscopes are used between two AC power systems to measure and display the phase angle and frequency difference. This measurement is essential to allow the two systems to be connected safely. Connecting unsynchronized power systems can lead to severe equipment damage if they are not protected by fuses or circuit breakers due to the flow of high current.

    Yokogawa 106 Series of synchroscopes are UL/CSA recognized. The meter is electrically shielded by a metal can. Both the front cover and the rear of the meter are gasketed, protecting the switchboard from dust ingress.
