Digital Sampling Power Meters with Superior Cost Performance .
Power measuring from small current, single phase model (WT210) Small size,
three phase, low cost performance model (WT230)

The WT230’s advanced specifications and its wide range of functions let you handle all your measurement applications from low-frequency equipment to high frequency inverters using a single power meter. One unit also handles standby low-power measurements and rated-power measurements.

The WT210 has the same capabilities of the WT230 plus a built-in 5 mA range that lets you measure currents as low as 25 µA. This makes it possible to measure very low currents on such things as intermittent control equipment. The wide current range (5 mA to 20 A) means a single power meter can be used for applications such as Energy Star® measuremnts, to measure everything from standby-power to rated-power.

    100 kHz power frequency range
Now you can obtain more precise measurements on high-frequency equipment such as inverters.
  • Accuracy Is Assured between 1% and 130%
  • Capture a Variety of Signal Types
Surge Current and Maximum Load State
MAX Hold Function for Voltage, Current, and Power *3
This function lets you keep, on the display, voltage and current peak values, voltage and current rms values, and maximum values for active power, apparent power, and reactive power.
  • Half-wave Rectification, Intermittent Control, Distortion Waves
    Measurement of DC Components
In addition to using DC inputs, you can obtain precise measurements of signals containing DC components, such as intermittent signals and half-wave rectification signals.
  • Constantly Changing Signals
Quick Response with Display Updating as Fast as Every 0.1 Second New!
With measurement intervals as short as 0.1 second, you can capture transient phenomena with a fine level of detail. You can also reduce the time per measurement for increased through put in production testing.
  • Noisy Signals
Line Filter Function (fc = 500 Hz) New!
This function lets you measure fundamental wave rms values for inverter output voltages.
  • Instead of taking notes, you can use the internal memory to store and recall settings and field measurement data.
*3: Popular functions on the WT200 were incorporated into WT210 and WT230.
  • Powerful Tools for Energy Measurement
  • Extended Energy Measurement Applications
    Maximum Integration Time: 10,000 hours3
Time can be set between 1 second and 10,000 hours (416 days) in 1-second increments.
  • Battery Equipment Applications
    Integrating Power Measurement by Polarity
Power and current values can be integrated separately for positive and negative polarities. Integrated values are shown with the decimal point moving according to the integrated value.
  • Intermittent Control Equipment Applications
    Average active power display3
The power of intermittent control equipment changes significantly over time. The average active power in intermittent operations can be displayed, which is highly effective for consumed-power measurements.
  • One Unit Handles Standby Low-power Measurements
    (WT210 only)
  • Wide Range of 5 mA to 20 A
The built-in 5 mA range lets you measure currents as low as 25 μA. This makes it possible to measure very low currents on such things as intermittent control equipment. The wide current range (5 mA to 20 A) means a single power meter can be used for applications such as Energy Star® measurements, to measure everything from standby-power to rated-power.

  WTViewer Software

WTViewer for the WT210/WT230 is a software application that allows you to load numeric and waveform data measured with the WT210 or WT230 Digital Power Meter to a PC via GP-IB or serial (RS-232-C) communications. It lets you view the measured data then save it to hard disk. Using GP-IB allows you to connect up to four WT210s or WT230s simultaneously.

  • Numeric Data
WTViewer can display the voltage, current, power, and phase of the measured data simultaneously. It can display up to 250 data items on the screen at once.
  • Waveform ¹
WTViewer lets you monitor voltage and current waveforms on your PC screen. The waveform display function lets you check the voltage and current phase angle, waveform distortion, and peak shapes.
  • Harmonic Measurement
With WTViewer, you can numerically or graphically display the results of measured harmonics of voltage, current, power, and phase harmonics up to the 50th order.
  • Trend
Various types of measured data can be displayed in a trend graph. You can survey chronological changes in such phenomenon as the variations in the supply voltage and current consumption. Harmonic trends can also be displayed.
  • Setting up WT210/WT230 from Your PC
You can enter WT210/WT230 settings such as the wiring method, range, filters, and scaling from your PC. These settings can be saved on the PC then loaded back in all atonce when needed.
  • Converting Data to CSV
Waveform and numeric data can be saved on the PC. From the PC you can create .wtd files that can be loaded by WTViewer for WT210/WT230, or .csv files that can be imported into Excel

¹: The optional harmonic analysis function (/HRM) is required to the main unit (WT210/WT230) for waveform display and harmonic measurement.

Current sensor unit accessories for digital power meters and power analyzers. DC to 100 kHz/600 A peak Guaranteed calibration with powermeters

Current sensor units can be used for large-current power measurements, which are difficult to take directly in excess of a power meters rating. With the ability to measure a wide range of frequencies from DC to 100 kHz with high precision, these can be used in a variety of power measurement applications, such as EV/ inverter drive motors and fuel cells. In addition, they can be calibrated when used in combination with Yokogawa's WT Series of digital power meters . This makes them well-suited to power measurement applications requiring an especially high level of precision. (However, only a limited number of points can be calibrated.) Use model 751521 for single-phase measurements and model 751523 for three-phase measurements.

  • 751521
    (for single-phase measurements)
  • 751523
