Yokogawa also provides a wide selection of high shock meters ( AB/DB 14 ) for most voltage and current applications. These meters meet military specifications MIL-M-16034 and MIL-S-901 for use in severe shock and vibration conditions.

The AB/DB 14 Switchboard meters conform to military specifications, namely MIL-S-901 and MIL-M-16034. Its primary application is for high shock conditions such as shipboaed control panels.

Scaling: Customized to any scaling desired, from linear to specialized Cos Ø, square root distributions, with color applications for visual emphasis and to any desired engineering unit.

Scale plate: platform type 2 piece scale with graduations on the outer scale; numerals and legends on the inner scale.

Case: All AB/DB switchboard instruments have drawn steel case with zinc chromate coating except AB/DB40 plastic case version which is ABS plastic.
Cover: Gasketted cover to prevent contaminant ingress, metal cover with polycarbonate window.
Terminal plate: phenol resin material.
Mounting studs: 1/4” x 28 thread.
Terminal studs: 10-32 thread.
Dielectric level: 4000 VAC for 1 minute (case to input terminals)
Overload rating: Voltmeter and potential coils-1.2 x rating (continuous). AC Ammeters- 2 x rating (continuous), and 10 x rating for one second. Current coils (other than ammeters) 1.5 x rating (continuous), and 10 x rating for one second.
Response time: Approximately 2.5 seconds
