Portable Testers

Cable (Fault) Locators, TDRs and Cable Height Meters
Whether locating cable faults or testing the integrity of communication, power, or control cables, TDRs and Megger Cable Fault Locators provide fast and accurate results. Each unit is a safe, low-voltage tester that can be used on virtually all cable types, whatever their power rating.

Digital and Power Clamp-on Meters
The Megger range of clampmeters are an invaluable tool; there is no need to switch off or break the circuits. They offer a safe, non-intrusive way of diagnosing faults on live electrical circuits. All the equipment has been developed with easy of use, application versatility and flexibility in mind.

Ducters ® Digital Low Resistance Ohmmeters
The Megger range of DLROs are highly accurate, easy to operate instruments that measure resistance with resolution as fine as 0.1 micro-ohm. Digital micro-ohmeters and DLROs measure contact resistance of switch and circuit breakers, aircraft frame bonds, and rail and pipeline bonds just to name a few of the applications. Megger has models available for testing using test currents from 0.5 mA to 100 amps covering a multitude of applications that require precise low-resistance measurements.

Earth Resistance Testers
Earth Testing covers the testing of earth electrodes and the measurement of soil resistivity. The instrument requirements depend on the range of applications.

Fiber Optics Meters and Sources
The Megger Fiber Optic Light Sources and Power Meters have been designed to address a critical aspect of fiber optic cable testing. Attenuation of signal within a fiber due to sharp bends and breaks in jacketed or bare fibers, poorly mated connectors, and faults in fiber optic jumper cables, distribution frames, patch panels and splice trays may cause the transmission system to fail (due to insufficient light levels reaching detectors within the system).

1-10 kV Insulation and Continuity Testers
With over twenty 1-kV models to choose from, selecting the proper Megger insulation tester can appear a bewildering. Refinements and added features, however, separate one model from another in application and operator appeal. Megger has six 5-kV models from which to choose. All 5-kV insulation resistance testers offer the electrician, maintenance engineer, and repair technician flexibility, versatility, and capability as never before!

All Purpose and High Accuracy Digital Multimeters
Megger multimeters provide a complet solution to electrical and electronic troubleshooting. All meters are CE marked and designed to international standards and are subjected to rigurous testing to ensure reliability and durability. Ideal for laboratory and field use.

Oil Test Sets
The electrical properties of the oil can change with degradation due to oxidation, acids, sludge, gas and water absorption. These changes can be identified through a dielectric strength test. Megger Oil Test Sets are designed specifically to determine the dielectric strength of insulation oils. The range of Megger Oil Test Sets offer solutions for all oil testing

Handheld Transformer Turns Ratio Testers
Transformers are very reliable devices and can provide service for a long time if maintained and serviced regularly. They are also the single most costly item in any substation. To protect against failures that can result in costly repairs and long periods of downtime, trust your transformer to the accurate and reliable test equipment from Megger. The best insurance against transformer failure is to ensure that they are properly installed and maintained. The complete line of Megger equipment make testing easy and accurate.
