Our Test and Measurement instruments include, Oscilloscopes, Recorders, Power meters and analyzers, Data acquisition systems, Bench calibrators and analyzers for industry and laboratory use.

The Toronto office technical sales team is seeking an energetic, highly motivated and organized professional with a strong sense of urgency. You should be detailed, creative, a team player with superior analytical skills, verbal and written

Qualifications:

• An electrical/electronic engineering or technician/technologist background with previous experience working with or as a manufacturers' representative is preferred.
• Bilingual, English/French would be an asset.

This position involves many exciting aspects of the technical sales and customer support. You will be working with our organization's Technical Sales Reps and directly with customers.

Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technician

Pickering, Ontario

Qualifications:

• Experience with the assembly of small electrical panels and cables.
• Must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams and wire lists.
• Must be able to understand mechanical assembly drawings
• Experienced in soldering with 24 AWG to 18 AWG wire.
• Experience with various hand crimpers, wire strippers and general hand tool. Experience in testing for continuity with basic DMM

Work description

This job involves the assembly of various small control and test panels from detailed electrical and mechanical drawings.

1. Identify and check parts against BOM
2. Install components in pre-machined panels in designated locations
3. Connect parts using solder or crimp
4. Route internal wiring to industry standards
5. Ability to make small mechanical changes with hand drill

Any experience with CNC machining, AutoCAD, BobCad or assembly of functional test fixtures would be as asset.
