All units are constructed with copper windings and grain-oriented silicon core steel. This construction provides high accuracy and low losses. All of our 5 to 34.5 kV instrument transformers are partial discharge tested in accordance with Canadian Standard C9-M1981 to ensure long insulation life.

These Instrument grade, window type current transformers are used with ammeters in such applications as panel boards, control panels and engine generators. They can be supplied with leads or terminals and mounting brackets. They meet the requirements of IEEE C57.13 -1993 and can be used for most metering and relaying applications. A wide range of window sizes and ratios up to 6,000 amperes are available.
